I have a tarot question and I'm curious to hear other people's takes...so the summer before last, I went to Paris with my son, and we went to the Louvre. At some point, while searching for a statue of Mary Magdalene (I was born on her feast day), we got lost. Really lost. To the point where we became exhausted and decided to sit down on the first bench we came upon.
After resting for awhile on this bench, I noticed that directly across from us were four statues of angels, which were clearly created as a set. And I recognized three of them as images in the tarot!
Their markers identified them as created in Italy somewhere between 500AD-1600AD and named La Temperance, La Force, La Justice, and La Prudence. My question is who does Prudence align with in the tarot? She is holding a snake.
The snake represents the obstacles prudence overcomes. The most obvious answer would be Strength but my money is on the Death Card. Using prudence to overcome the things that die in our lives leading to rejuvenation.
