Many moons ago when I was in school we learned about the ethical dilemma often called The Trolley Problem which goes something like you're driving a trolley on a track that splits into two directions, if you choose one it kills three children and if you choose the other it kills four elderly people. It's a horrible hypothetical scenario that always ends in disaster but helps us all think critically and ethics, morals, and decision making.
The last week the Internet was ablaze with its latest ethical dilemma called Bear Vs. Man. Its premise is a woman walking alone in the woods, would she feel safer about coming upon a wild bear or safer coming upon a strange man. Of course it polarized people and became an instantly popular topic for memes and conversations.
We got in on it early because we try to provide a hint of cultural commentary. People did a lot of sharing and a lot of fighting and a lot of complaining and we walked away with a pocket full of money. Janus always seems to open roads for us, we definitely want to praise him for this.
I've listened to the livestreams for several weeks and I'm just wondering who is benefiting from the controversy?
Oh that’s what that was about. Had no idea
